Previously available in just two sizes, the Coquille represents the core of the Barbary collection, and is thought to symbolise the shells found on the beaches of “Maghreb” or “place where the sun sets” in the 7th and 8th centuries when western coastal Morocco was widely regarded as the edge of the Arab world.
